Annuitant, member of family, dependent: defined in section 8901 at paragraphs (3), (5), and (9). Eligible individual: anyone described in paragraphs (1), (2), or (8), whether or not enrolled in a chapter 89 health plan. Office: the Office of Personnel Management. Qualified company: a company (or group or employee organization under 8901(8)) that offers indemnity, PPO, HMO, or discount dental plans and, if required, is licensed in the States; subsidiaries and consortium members count together. Employee organization: a national employee association or one open to all agency employees eligible for chapter 89 plans. State: includes the District of Columbia. Covered TRICARE-eligible individual: someone entitled to dental care under title 10, chapter 55, section 1076c and designated by the Secretary of Defense as eligible here.
