Who Can Request Repatriation

Any lineal descendant, Indian Tribe, or Native Hawaiian organization not already named may submit a written request for these items if they show by a preponderance of the evidence that they are a lineal descendant or culturally affiliated. The Gilcrease Museum may repatriate the items to an approved requestor on or after February 18, 2025.
