The U.S. is continuing its national emergency over problems in the Western Balkans, like violence, corruption, and efforts to break peace agreements. This affects people and groups involved in these issues across countries like North Macedonia, Bosnia, Kosovo, and Albania. The government is keeping sanctions and rules in place to protect peace and democracy, with no changes to funding but a clear signal that the watch stays on.
