Summary
The President has decided to give Turkey a pass on a law that usually stops U.S. aid to countries using child soldiers. This means Turkey is recognized for making real progress in fighting this problem, so the U.S. will keep working with them. This decision was made official in August 2025 and lets aid continue without interruption.
