If you are a veteran applying for a Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) or Special Home Adaptation (SHA) grant, VA Form 26-4555 was revised to add collections related to the construction and adaptation process. The change increases the estimated number of respondents from 7,000 to 11,200 and raises the total annual burden to 4,293 hours, about 23 minutes per respondent. You can submit comments on the proposed collection through regulations.gov by July 6, 2026.
