Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XXVI— - THEODORE ROOSEVELT NATIONAL PARK › § 241
The United States takes certain federal lands in North Dakota and makes them a public park called Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The law gives a very detailed boundary for the park using township and range lines, parts of Highway No. 10, a railroad right-of-way, the Little Missouri River, and other landmarks. The park contains exactly 49,153.79 acres and is for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. The Secretary of the Interior can choose to build and keep a road or highway through the park. That road may connect to a state or federal highway.
