Summary
Conveys about 124.23 acres of federal land to the City of Price, Utah for public purposes. Land transfer to Price, Utah
If enacted, this bill would require the Secretary of the Interior to convey all right, title, and interest in about 124.23 acres of BLM land to the City of Price, Utah, if the City requests it. The land is shown on the BLM map titled "Land Conveyance near Price, Utah" dated May 8, 2025, and that map would be filed with BLM offices; the Secretary would be allowed to correct minor map errors. The conveyance would be for public purposes, such as building a reservoir and related infrastructure, and for public-safety, transportation, or reservoir access projects. If the Secretary, after consulting the State of Utah, determines the land was used for an unauthorized purpose, title would revert to the United States only after notice to the City, a hearing if requested, public notice and comment, and a reasonable chance for the City to correct the use. The transfer would be subject to valid existing rights and would take effect upon enactment.
