Federal housing aid blocked for some noncitizens
If enacted, federal housing and community grants could not help people who are not U.S. nationals or green card holders. This would apply to grants made in FY2024 and later. States, cities, and tribes that run programs aiding such people would not get these grants unless they change eligibility. These limits would apply despite other laws.
