H-2A Fee Pause Starts Sept 2, 2025
Starting September 2, 2025, the Department of Labor will temporarily suspend collection of H-2A labor certification fees while it moves from paper checks to electronic payments. Employers issued H-2A certifications during the suspension will not be invoiced and will not be required to pay those fees retroactively, but any invoice issued before September 2, 2025 must still be paid by its due date. The Office of Foreign Labor Certification will announce when fee collection resumes in a future Federal Register notice.
