Easier reinstatement for Native village corporations

The law lets Native village corporations that were involuntarily dissolved by the state apply for reinstatement any time through December 31, 2020. After reinstatement, the corporation and its shareholders regain all rights and duties, and actions taken while dissolved count as valid. If the old corporate name is unavailable, the board can change the name without a shareholder vote. The Act takes effect immediately.
