Local Boundary Commission start date and term transition

New membership and leadership for Local Boundary Commission

The law sets the Local Boundary Commission at six members, appointed by the governor. One member must come from each of the four judicial districts, one from the unorganized borough, and one at large. Members from a district or the unorganized borough must live there and be registered to vote there. Members serve overlapping six-year terms. The commission selects a chair from among its members.
