Arizona businesses may gain trade offices

The Arizona Commerce Authority can open full-time or part-time offices in other states or countries. The Legislature must provide money for each office, and the Authority’s research must show that it benefits Arizona’s economy. By December 1 each year, the Authority must report to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee on office activities from the prior fiscal year and research on possible locations.
