Clearer public reporting on Arizona votes

In Arizona elections using electronic voting machines, election judges must compare machine totals with poll-list totals and provisional ballots, then file a written report. County election officers must track printed and generated ballots by category, including early, regular, provisional, federal-only, duplicated, test, replacement early, and electronically generated ballots, and record category overlaps. Within 48 hours after sending the county canvass to the Secretary of State, the county must post the ballot counts online and send them to the state for posting. The Secretary of State must appoint seven people to the vote count verification committee, with no more than three from one political party; the law removes the former deadline tied to the 2006 primary election.
