Nassau County recreation district shuts down

The law abolishes the Nassau County Recreation and Water Conservation and Control District No. 1. It repeals the district’s founding laws, Chapters 61-2525 and 69-1331, Laws of Florida. All district assets and liabilities transfer to the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners. The law takes effect upon becoming law. It does not specify a direct change to household payments, taxes, or eligibility.
