More websites for property legal notices

Beginning July 1, 2026, clerks and county comptrollers have more website options for required real-property legal notices. They can use their own websites, the county’s official website, or private websites designated by either entity. Online notices must be searchable and show their first publication date.

Court clerks get capped budget reserves

Beginning July 1, 2026, accumulated excess court funds help fund the combined budgets of Florida’s court clerks. At least 10% of those excess funds must be set aside until the reserve reaches its 16% target. That target is based on total approved spending for the current county fiscal year.
