Idaho benefit expansions require a law

Beginning July 1, 2025, Idaho requires changes in state law to expand public assistance financial eligibility or benefits. State agencies cannot make these expansions through rules, state plans, plan amendments, agency guidance, or other documents. This law does not itself change who qualifies or how much help people get.
