The law adds $551,500 for Idaho’s Department of Administration for July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Management Services gets $148,700, Public Works gets $192,700, and Purchasing gets $11,600. Insurance Management gets $155,400, and Document Services gets $43,100. The money must follow the listed program, fund, and spending limits; it creates no direct household payment. The department can also add three full-time equivalent positions for the same budget year.
Of the Management Services funding, $60,600 must move from the Permanent Building Fund to the Governor’s Residence Fund. The transfer must occur on July 1, 2025, or as soon afterward as practical. The money is for the Governor’s housing stipend for July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. This transfer overrides conflicting limits in Idaho Code section 57-1108. It is not housing help available to the public.
The law separately cuts $91,300 from the Idaho Department of Administration’s Division of Public Works capital budget. The cut comes from the Permanent Building Fund for July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. It does not directly change household taxes, benefits, or legal duties.
