Digital registration cards for drivers

Beginning July 1, 2026, you can show your vehicle registration in an electronic format. This applies to all drivers, including commercial vehicles registered under Idaho’s commercial vehicle rules. You must still have the registration with you or in the vehicle while driving. A peace officer can inspect it on request.
