LLCs without offices can use agent address

Beginning July 1, 2026, an LLC can list its commercial registered agent’s street and mailing addresses as its principal office. This applies only if the LLC has no physical location other than a home address. The registered agent must consent. You must include the agent’s addresses in the certificate of organization filed with the Idaho Secretary of State. This helps keep a home address off public records and simplifies formation.
