From July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, Idaho provides $127,700 to the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The law tells the Commission to prioritize sight restoration services that preserve, stabilize, and restore vision for people it finds eligible. $99,300 is for operating costs and $28,400 is for trustee and benefit payments. $62,700 comes from the Rehabilitation Revenue and Refunds Fund and $65,000 from the Adaptive Aids and Appliances Fund. This funding adds to other appropriations and must be spent in those categories during that period.
