2026-27 funding for Idaho colleges

The law funds Idaho’s public colleges for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Boise State University gets $139,400 from the General Fund (personnel $134,800; operating $4,600). Idaho State University gets $97,800 from the General Fund, plus $113,000 and $260,100 from endowment funds. Lewis‑Clark State College gets $355,800 from the Normal School endowment. The University of Idaho gets $273,300 from the General Fund, plus $120,000, $380,400, and $680,400 from endowment funds. The money supports staff, operations, and student programs for the year.

2026-27 cuts to college operations

For the same year, the law cuts General Fund operating support by $752,900. The cuts are: Boise State $295,300; Idaho State $186,300; Lewis‑Clark $61,100; University of Idaho $210,200. The reductions apply July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Colleges may have fewer dollars for services and operations.
