More funding for Idaho SNAP administration

The law provides an extra $514,000 to Idaho’s Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Welfare, to administer SNAP. This emergency funding covers operating costs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. It includes $351,000 from the Cooperative Welfare General Fund and $163,000 from the Cooperative Welfare Federal Fund. The money adds to other funding and does not change household SNAP benefits or who qualifies.
