Funding for Idaho's deaf and blind students

Beginning July 1, 2026, the law provides $356,300 for Idaho's Division of Educational Services for the Deaf and the Blind. The money covers July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Funding includes $335,900 from the Public School Income Fund and $20,400 from the School for the Deaf and the Blind Endowment Fund. The State Controller must transfer $335,900 from the General Fund to the Public School Income Fund on July 1, 2026, or as soon afterward as practical. This funding supports educational services, not direct payments to households.
