From July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, the Idaho Digital Learning Academy's $40-per-enrollment tuition cap is removed. This applies to charges to Idaho school districts and charter schools; no new rate or increase is required. State funds must support catch-up courses for students who fall short on one or more areas of Idaho's standards-based tests. Funds must also support advanced opportunities, including dual credit courses under state education rules; other instruction and training remains allowed. Higher tuition charges can add to school costs, with any household budget effects indirect.
