Public reports on homeless student funding

The law requires every school district to file a yearly report to the State Board of Education. Districts must list the federal Title I funds received under 20 U.S.C. 6313(c)(3)(A), how much they set aside for homeless children and youth, how many such students were identified and enrolled, how much money they spent on them, and what activities the money paid for. The State Board must post these reports on its website. The law uses the federal definition of “homeless children and youth.”
