If you call yourself a fire sprinkler inspector or do that work without a license, you face civil fines. A first offense can be up to $10,000 per offense. A second offense within 24 months is at least $10,000. More than two offenses within 24 months is at least $25,000. The Office sets the amount after a hearing, and the money goes to the Fire Prevention Fund.
