The law requires the Clerk of the Appellate Courts to post monthly lists. One list shows Supreme Court and Court of Appeals cases with no decision filed within six months of submission. It shows the case name, case number, and submission date, plus the Court of Appeals judge panel when it applies. Another list shows petitions for review not granted or denied within six months of submission, with the case name, case number, and submission date. Both lists stay on the Kansas Supreme Court website until a decision or petition result. The clerk also sends the lists each month to the House and Senate judiciary committees, the Speaker, the Senate President, the Attorney General, and the Governor.
