The law repeals the statewide naloxone protocol. Pharmacists and first responders no longer have special authority under that section to furnish or give naloxone. The training rules, the physician medical director requirement for first responder programs, and the related legal protections in that section also end. How naloxone access and protections work now depends on other Kansas laws and local policies.
