Kansas residents age 65 or older can buy a discounted lifetime combination hunting and fishing license. The fee cannot be more than one-eighth of the regular general lifetime license price. You must be a Kansas resident and at least 65. The exact dollar amount depends on the current regular lifetime price.
Kansas resident children can get a lifetime combination hunting and fishing license at capped prices. Age 5 or younger: no more than $300. Ages 6 through 15: no more than $400, which is lower than the prior $500 cap. These rules end on July 1, 2032 unless extended. The law repeals the old kids license section and replaces it with these rules.
