New financial aid reporting rules for colleges

Louisiana’s Board of Regents must create and maintain a system collecting standard data on all state financial aid programs. The board chooses the required data and reports on statewide aid trends, program effectiveness, and results. Colleges and other postsecondary schools admitting students with Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) awards must submit that data. The law does not change who qualifies for aid or how much they receive.
