Less public access to aerospace records

Louisiana law makes certain aerospace records confidential, overriding other disclosure laws. Covered records concern the design, operation, flights, transportation, or security of critical infrastructure for aerospace facilities or activities. Examples include blueprints, plans, technical data, operating documents, and security information. The holder must maintain information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or hold a current U.S. Department of Defense or intelligence agency contract. Louisiana's Public Records Law does not require inspection, examination, copying, or reproduction of these records.
