Louisiana extends its special port-hauling permits by four years. The permits and legal authority now end on August 1, 2030, instead of August 1, 2026. They cover combinations of vehicles or tandem loads hauling container imports or exports to and from port facilities. Loads can be divisible or nondivisible, meaning they can or cannot be split. Existing permit rules stay the same.
