New supervision rules for apprentice appraisers

The law creates an Apprentice appraiser classification for people still completing requirements. Apprentices must work under a New Hampshire certified appraiser until they qualify. A supervisor must have at least 2 years of New Hampshire certification and no disciplinary action anywhere in the 3 years before approval. This raises oversight but narrows who can supervise.

Teaching counts toward appraiser continuing education

Teaching, course development, or writing materials for board‑approved appraisal education now counts toward continuing education. The work must relate to appraisal theory, practices, or techniques. This non‑student participation can satisfy up to one‑half of your CE requirement. You must meet the rest through other board‑approved education.
