Police exam eligibility for Steven Kobie Jackson

The law lets Steven Kobie Jackson, who works continuously as a part-time Woodstock police officer, take the competitive exam for a full-time officer job. This applies even if other civil service rules would normally block it. If he scores high enough, he can be placed on the hiring list for a full-time Woodstock police position. He still must meet all merit and fitness rules for full-time officers. The law takes effect immediately.
