Ends state fuel-tax cut authority
The law repeals 68 O.S. 2021, Section 500.4A, which had allowed a reduction in the federal excise tax on gasoline and diesel fuel. With this repeal, there is no state law basis to reduce those federal taxes. The law does not set new tax rates or create new fees. An emergency clause makes this change take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
