Little Compton allows larger property tax increases

For fiscal year 2026, Little Compton has a one-year exemption from its usual property-tax levy cap. The increase in total property taxes collected cannot exceed 12%. The Little Compton Financial Town Meeting must approve use of the exemption. Property owners may pay more, but the law does not set any household’s tax increase.
