New filing rules for Tennessee professional fundraisers
Tennessee professional solicitors must file fundraising literature and promotional materials within 90 days after a campaign ends, rather than before it starts. For campaigns lasting more than one year, the deadline is 90 days after the fiscal year ends. The filing requirement now covers materials beyond those used in the campaign. Solicitors no longer must notify the secretary of state in writing within seven days after changing campaign materials. They also no longer must submit samples or copies of those changes.
