Surveyor needed for some property deeds

The law requires a licensed land surveyor to write the legal description in a deed for certain registered properties that have no prior recorded description. You must get this done before you record or transfer the property. Deeds prepared by or for a government department or agency are exempt. Expect a one-time closing cost to pay the surveyor.
