Easier county purchase of used mobile homes for supervised release

The law lets counties buy used mobile homes or park model homes to house people on supervised release under s. 798.08. For these purchases, counties do not have to follow the usual public works notice and competitive bidding rules in s. 59.52(29). The exception applies only to used units bought for that housing purpose.
