Noncitizen Wyoming IDs show 'Not U.S. citizen'

Beginning January 1, 2026, Wyoming must print "Not U.S. citizen" on driver licenses and IDs for people who are not citizens but have lawful status under 6 CFR 37.3. The label appears on new and renewed cards issued on or after that date. The Wyoming Department of Transportation must issue rules by January 1, 2026 to carry this out. The law does not change who can get a license or ID.
