County treasurers pay schools monthly

County treasurers now split all county school fund money among the county’s school districts using the state formula. This includes interest, fines, and forfeitures. They must do the split on the second Monday of each month and on June 20, or the last business day before June 20. Treasurers must pay each district right away. The old extra annual payout is removed; funding now follows this set monthly-and-June schedule.
