Beginning July 1, 2025, the Wyoming Board of Chiropractic Examiners can obtain criminal history records for new applicants and for investigations or discipline of licensees. The Board must adopt rules to carry out this law by July 1, 2025. The rulemaking requirement takes effect immediately upon enactment.
Beginning July 1, 2025, all new chiropractic license applicants must give fingerprints and other info for state and national background checks. If the Board sends a written request during an investigation or discipline, a licensee must provide fingerprints and information for a check. Starting July 1, 2026, the Board must request criminal history checks for every new applicant. These rules apply to applications and investigations on or after July 1, 2025.
