2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 0 costs, 1 mixed.

Livestock board shares ID options

The Wyoming Livestock Board must tell producers about all legal livestock ID options for disease tracing. This helps you choose an ID method that fits your operation and meets traceability rules. The law sets no new fees.

Out-of-state sales: buyers tag, vets certify

If the destination state requires electronic ear tags, the buyer there must apply them. This does not apply if the Wyoming owner already used electronic tags. A Wyoming-licensed and accredited veterinarian may issue the health certificate, as long as it meets the destination state's rules. This shifts tagging costs to buyers when the destination law requires tags and keeps needed paperwork available.
