Wyoming now offers an alternative K-12 teacher certificate. You must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. You must complete a board‑approved alternative program or pathway; the board may approve accredited or non‑accredited programs. You must pass four exams: a subject test, a pedagogy test, the U.S. Constitution test, and the Wyoming Constitution test. Your certificate covers only the subjects and grades you finished. If you are enrolled in or have finished the program, you may apply to a school district. The law takes effect immediately.
