DFARS Paperwork Continues Three Years
If you are a business that bids on or performs DoD contracts, DoD is proposing to extend collection of DFARS Part 225 information for three more years. The current OMB approval runs through August 31, 2026, DoD seeks comments by July 28, 2026, and the collection affects about 39,221 respondents who each give about 10 responses per year.
Report Subcontracts Performed Abroad
If you submit offers or hold DoD contracts, you must report subcontracts that will be performed outside the United States using DD Form 2139 (or equivalent). The reporting threshold is $750,000 for contracts that exceed $15 million.
Record Retention for Forgings
If your contract involves forgings subject to DFARS 252.225-7025, you must keep records showing compliance until 3 years after final payment and make them available to the contracting officer on request.
Photovoltaic Device Certification Rule
If you propose to use photovoltaic devices in contract performance, you must certify that no photovoltaic devices with an estimated value exceeding the micro-purchase threshold will be used, or you must specify the country of origin.

Specialty Metals Compliance Certificate
If you provide commercial derivative military articles and use the alternative compliance approach, you must certify you will take certain actions regarding specialty metals as required by DFARS 252.225-7010.
UK Levies Information for UK-linked Offers
United Kingdom offerors and prime contractors, and offerors/primes with subcontracts over $1,000,000 with UK firms, must provide information needed for DoD to request a waiver of United Kingdom levies under DFARS 252.225-7032 and 252.225-7033.
