FEMA Finalized New Flood Maps

FEMA finalized new or modified flood hazard determinations — including Base (1-percent annual chance) Flood Elevations (BFEs), base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundaries, zone designations, and regulatory floodways — for the communities listed in the table. Each Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) revises the community's Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and, in some cases, the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report; LOMRs in the table were finalized on dates such as Apr. 20, 2026; Apr. 13, 2026; and Sep. 19, 2025.

Maps Set Required Floodplain Rules

The new or modified flood hazard information is the basis for the floodplain management measures communities must adopt or show are already in effect to stay in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). These measures are tied to the floodplain management criteria required by 44 CFR 60.3.

Use New Community Number For Policies

The notice states that the current effective community number shown must be used for all new flood insurance policies and renewals for the listed communities. This affects how NFIP policies are issued in those areas.

Maps Available Online and Locally

Each Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) is available for inspection at the listed Community Map Repository address and online through the FEMA Map Service Center at https://msc.fema.gov. Interested lessees and owners of real property are encouraged to review the final flood hazard information.
