More cyber help at Small Business Development Centers
The law creates a cyber counseling certification for Small Business Development Center staff. The Small Business Administration may also use similar government or private programs. Each lead center must have at least five certified staff or 10% of its employees, whichever is less. SBA may reimburse certification costs, subject to funding, with total payments capped at $350,000 per year. SBA must set this up within 180 days and consider the 2017 SBDC cyber strategy.
