Summary
insider trading in prediction and energy markets. This bill would require the Department of Defense Inspector General (IG) to deliver by January 1, 2027 a report to the Senate and House Armed Services Committees on all complaints about insider trading tied to Operation Epic Fury. The report must state the number of complaints, whether they involved service members, DoD civilians, or contractors, the outcomes and any accountability actions, identified trends, an assessment of operational risks and security vulnerabilities, and recommendations for safeguards to detect and deter future incidents.
