Public list of innovative rehab centers

HHS must post a public list of "rehabilitation innovation centers." The first list comes within 18 months of enactment, with updates at least every two years. Centers are inpatient rehab facilities with strong brain or spinal cord injury research. They submit research details and meet case-mix 1.20 and teaching 0.075, unless HHS waives a requirement. Eligibility uses the law’s enactment date for the first list and a date within one year for updates; within 3 years, HHS reports to Congress.
