Agencies can share data with Congressional Budget Office
The law adds a new Privacy Act exception. Federal agencies may give records to the Congressional Budget Office or its authorized staff. Sharing is allowed only to do the office’s official work. This can include personal information agencies keep about you. The change is effective upon enactment and does not add any new notice, consent, or opt-out rights.
